Ministering to the Ministers in Karjat

People who serve God are so busy pouring into the lives of others that many times they get burnt out or do not get much time with their families. Wanting to show the ministers how much they are loved and to give them some much-needed TLC (tender loving care), a special meeting was organized for the ministers and their wives in Karjat.

Karjat’s easy connectivity to Mumbai, Panvel,Thane and Pune have made it one of the fastest growing cities in Maharashtra, and hence it was decided to have the Ministers Meet there. Around 31 people attended the meeting, and many ministers brought their wives along. After the opening prayer and some rich time of worship the participants were treated to a fun icebreaker. Each one introduced themselves after which there was a recap of the previous ministers’ meeting.

A Spiritual Perspective on Marriage

The teaching part of the meeting was hinged around the Catechism with respect to marriage. It was an interactive session where everyone participated, and especially the wives enjoyed the lively discussions. They also got an opportunity to learn about the Church’s work and ways they could be supportive of their husband’s ministry.

It was a great time of fellowship. Wives enjoyed meeting other wives. And the minsters were happy to share this part of their life with their spouses. Each one left feeling spiritually refreshed and excited to be a part of God’s work.
