Bishop Sheetal Masih was a man who was loved and cherished by all. Born on 15 March 1954, he had had received the priestly ministry on 18 May 1981. Out of his 35 years in service, he spent 25 years as a Bishop, serving God faithfully in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
On 12 June 2016, Bishop Sheetal was enjoying dinner with his relatives when he suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest and breathed his last. Earlier that evening, he had conducted a Divine Service in New Kangoi, Bihar.
Apostle Mahesh Lal conducted Bishop Sheetal’s funeral service on 14 June 2016 at a cemetery in Chittaranjan, West Bengal which was also Bishop Sheetal’s hometown.
Our 62-year-old Bishop Sheetal Masih is survived by his beloved wife, three sons, two daughters and two grandchildren.
