The season has arrived when our young confirmands stand before their families, friends, and the congregation to say YES to God—taking their next step to bear full responsibility for their life of faith.
To these youth, our dear Chief Apostle writes,
Dear confirmands,
Today you are making one of the most important decisions of your life. You are making the choice to follow Jesus Christ and become like Him. The whole congregation rejoices profoundly about this.
You will have many more decisions to make in the years to come. Whenever you do so, remember these words of Jesus:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14: 6).
Always favour the solution that will bring you closer to Christ. You will never regret it!
On behalf of the Apostles and the congregation, I wish you great blessing and much joy in the Church. We want you to know that we are very happy to have you with us.
