“It is Time to Do Good.”

With much anticipation, we prepare for a moment of spiritual rejuvenation through the visit of our Chief Apostle on Sunday, 21st September 2025. This historic homecoming unfolds after 15 long years and marks Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider’s first visit to Bengaluru — only the second-ever visit of a Chief Apostle to our city.

Rewind down memory lane – February 2010

In February 2010 our dear Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber graced the city with the first-ever visit of a Chief Apostle to Bengaluru. On this occasion, over a 1000 young people (with their chaperones and Spiritual leaders) converged from all over India to celebrate the “Day Of The Youth” 2010 (D.O.T.Y-2010) over 3 days filled with fun, friendship and healthy competitions. “DOTY-2010” was celebrated under the inspiring theme: 'Let your light shine.'

On Sunday, 21st February 2010 - the final day of the event - our Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber addressed the youth with a moving text from James 4:8: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands and purify your hearts.” He thus inspired the future generation to purify themselves, remain faithful, and experience God’s nearness through true discipleship.

This event was marked by a significant milestone in the history of the New Apostolic Church in India wherein the Apostle David Garlapati Devaraj was assigned as the District Apostle Helper for India. The Chief Apostle also dispensed a blessing for the 25th wedding anniversary of Apostle Michael and Vijaya Naik.

Let us strengthen the heart and hands of our dear Chief Apostle by coming together to renew our vows to fight against divisive forces and maintain the purity of the gospel. Meanwhile, we strengthen our bonds of friendship and fellowship. Spread the word.
