31 December 2024

My dear ‘Family’ and friends,

Indeed! ‘Time and tide wait for no man’. The year 2024 is now history. We have learned to be thankful for everything, even if we did not fully understand the difficult and challenging times that were included. Not to forget His consistent care and provisions.

Together with the Apostles, we wish that the year 2025 is even more blessed for each of us. The greatest blessing would be worthiness to see and experience eternal fellowship with our Lord in His abode.

We have been given a time of grace in which we must help each other to use every opportunity to comprehend God through the example of His son Jesus Christ and become true followers of His nature.

Dear friends, I am certain you will agree that much of our past has been spent focusing rather selfishly on ourselves and our earthly needs which is transitory and will be buried in history. We have very often overlooked the tremendous distress caused by the constant bombardment of soul and spirit within many who surround us. “It is time to do good“ by doing what it says in Galatians 6:2,  “Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ”.

Let us fight against being selfish and increase in compassionate ‘soul care’. As disciples of Christ Jesus, it is certainly high time to transform from a worldly mindset into a Godly one. To demonstrate God’s loving nature with our neighbours (even to our enemies), with each other, and upon ourselves, by behaving in a way that cares, soothes and nourishes one’s soul. Those souls will certainly feel drawn to such ‘Godly’ acts of love and kindness.

This is one way we can read into our Motto for 2025: “It’s time to do good”. I encourage you to taste, chew and digest our Chief Apostle’s New Year message for 2025 which is taken from Galatians 6:9-10 : “Let us not grow weary of doing good, … as we have opportunity, but let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith”.

May the year 2025 be filled with this blessed transformation and help us to ‘see Him as He is’, very soon.

Your Apostle, brother and friend,

David G Devaraj
