The 2025 motto is “It’s Time to Do Good!”, and we’re excited to see how you will bring this to life through your creativity!
Inspired by Galatians 6:9-10, our Chief Apostle reminds us, "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith."
In the Bible, goodness is anything that pleases God. It means aligning our actions with the will of God and the example of Jesus Christ. How does “It’s Time to Do Good!” inspire you? Whatever your vision of goodness is, we want to see it—through your art!
This year, it’s a Logo Contest, and we invite you to create logo-based artworks that reflect the motto “It’s Time to Do Good!”
What to Create:
The Bible is rich with examples of goodness, including Ruth’s unwavering loyalty to Naomi and the Shunammite woman’s generous hospitality to Elisha. Jonathan’s selfless friendship with David and Joseph’s forgiveness of his brothers illustrate the transformative power of doing good. In the New Testament, the kindness of the Good Samaritan, the faithful friends who brought the paralyzed man to Jesus, and Dorcas’ service to the needy further highlight the impact of selfless actions.
Your artwork can be inspired by biblical stories or personal experiences like helping a friend, by actions that can change your community and world for the better. It can also reflect the good deeds you have witnessed for yourself or others.
For the first time, we are accepting digital art submissions alongside hand-drawn pieces! You can use any digital tools, including AI, to create your artwork. Be sure to read the instructions below carefully to ensure your entry meets all requirements. Please note that hand-drawn artworks will receive a scoring advantage to ensure fair competition for those without digital tools.
Criteria for Participation:
- The contest is open to individuals up to the age of 25 from India, Bangladesh, Maldives, and Sri Lanka.
- Copying from websites, printouts, books, or any other sources is considered plagiarism. Plagiarism is a serious offense, and participants will be disqualified and banned from competing in future contests.
- The participants should use original ideas to create the artwork in A4 size (8.3″ x 11.7″). The material can be paper, chart, or canvas. Digital artwork submission also has to follow the strict dimensions of A4 size.
- By participating, both children and parents explicitly consent to the publication of the artwork, name, and congregation across various New Apostolic Church media channels.
- Using the New Apostolic Church Emblem or any part of it in artwork is not allowed. (Incorporating our Emblem into a "new" logo, along with added verbal and visual elements, notably alters the standalone character of the Emblem logo.)
- Do not depict images/illustrations of God or Jesus in your artwork. There are no known accurate images of God or Jesus, hence refrain from using such depiction.
Not following the above rules will result in disqualification of your submission.
