In a Divine Service on Friday, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider placed the two Apostles Devdas Lalba Suryawanshi and Amarendra Babu Somala into retirement.
Being born and brought up in Vinukonda (Andhra Pradesh), Amarendra Babu Somala had served in the Apostle ministry for almost 20 years. In the course of these years, he had taken care of the ministers, members and congregations in Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Vijayawada, Vinukonda, Vishakapatnam and Warangal.
Devdas Suryawanshi had been born in Dongaon (Bidar/ Karnataka) and had served as an Apostle in Maharashtra for more than 25 years. Starting with Udgir, his working area grew to include Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Beed, Buldhana, Jalna.
We are very thankful to both our Apostles for their dedication and contributions towards God’s work. They had sealed and cared for hundreds of members, established many congregations and built churches, and they had travelled thousands of kilometers in order to reach out to God’s children.
