The early church founded by Jesus Christ was apostolic because it was led by Apostles. The New Apostolic Church is the continuation of the early church which is also led by Apostles of this time with one head called the Chief Apostle.

Ministers discharge the duties of their ministries voluntarily and in an honorary capacity, according to the direction of the Chief Apostle, District Apostles and the Apostles.
